TIT is affiliated to the TRIPURA UNIVERSITY (A CENTRAL UNIVERSITY), AGARTALA, is the one of the prominent institute of the state to qualify for running the B. E. Programme. The first session which commenced in the year 2007, admitted 180 students in degree module and 240 students in diploma module according to the regulations of the AICTE and Tripura University.. Within a short time, TIT, with state-of-the-art infrastructure, has conducted all the experiments required for the Programme.

COMPUTER LABORATORIES

Fully equipped with HCL, PCS and others machinery along with the latest software applicable in the fields of Object Oriented Programming (OOPS), Operational Research (OR), Software Engineering, Web Technology and specialized designing and modelling packages exclusively for the B. E. students.

ELECTRONICS AND TELECOMM ENGINEERING LAB

Electronics and Communication Engineering Laboratory developed specifically for training in basic electronic circuitry, antennae engineering, microwave engineering, analogue and digital electronics, with ample back up instruments from leading international manufactures for each students to work individually.

MECHANICAL AND ELECTRICAL MACHINE SHOPS

Mechanical and Electrical Machine Shops equipped with CentralLathes, Shaping Machines, Drilling Machines, electrical shop fitted with both AC and DC Motors, Generators and Alternators with instruments for Circuit and Systems Labs.

ENGINEERING MECHANICS LAB

Engineering Mechanics Lab, Kinematics and Dynamics Lab, Fluid Mechanics & Solid Mechanics Labs fully equipped and functional.

PHYSICS LAB

The Physics Laboratory is equipped for LASER, Fiber Optics and Ultrasonic experiments besides the usual training facilities.

CHEMISTRY AND MECHANICAL WORKSHOPS

The Mechanical workshop houses Milling m/c, Lathe m/c including Bench type Lathe, Radial Drilling, Sensitive Drilling m/c, Grinder, Shaping, Power hacksaw, Blending m/c, Spot Welding m/c, etc. Moulds are designed and fabricated using CAD (AutoCAD-2002) software for outside parties/ customers.

PROGRAMMING LAB, DBMS LAB, AUTOCAD LAB, INTERNET TECHNOLOGY LAB

The students enrolled in B. E. in Computers, Information Technology, Electronics and Communication and Mechanical can do practical in C++, HTML and AutoCAD in one person one computer basis.

HARDWARE LAB

The hardware lab gives the students an insight in learing various hardware aspects of computer systems. The students get real time exposure to assembling, troubleshooting various computer systems and related peripherals. This lab helps the students to build up a thorough knowledge in basic components of computers.

INTERNET LABORATORY

The internet lab is fully connected through Optic Fibre cable (OFC). The institute has its own LAN in the campus. The lab is equipped with high speed internet connection available 24x7 hours.
